Let me introduce myself.
My name is Nicki Mead, and I'm the owner of Marketing Inspiration.
I started this business in 2010 as my youngest child went off to "big school" because I had some free time, and passion for helping people.
I grew up in a family that owned and ran a small business for 25 years, and saw first hand the dedication, energy and hard work that went into that lifestyle (it was always more than a job!). It's where I got my work ethic from!
After doing a Marketing degree and working for large corporates (both in Australia and the USA) in a variety of marketing roles - from Product Management to Customer Segmentation & Communications, I had quite a breadth of experience to share.
I had a few friends who had ventured into small businesses and came to me for "some marketing help". I did my thing, and they often said "You're so good at this - you should do this for other people and get paid for it". So thought why not? I love being busy!
Mostly, it's just me that works with clients, but as needed, I'll connect with my network to help out - from graphic designers, printers, web developers and PR strategists.. Whatever is needed.
I am quite the perfectionist.. but also very "real". I will give you my opinion, and sometimes, you might not like it.
I'm more interested in you getting results for your business than I am in padding your ego. I always go above and beyond for my clients - researching and finding new and better ways to achieve their goals. I love learning and I love sharing my knowledge.
I only take on a few clients each year - and ones that I know I can help and make a real difference to their businesses. For me it's more than a job - it's a passion project.
